Latinas Represent is the national, nonpartisan home for Latinas seeking out public service opportunities. We honor the uniqueness of Latina experiences across the country, uplifting and celebrating our communities’ diversity. With that in mind, we are creating new norms in public service and strengthening the ecosystem of organizations supporting Latinas. Together, we are connecting Latinas to the resources they need to transform their communities and our democracy. Come join our community of Latinas who are ready to lead and support one another.

- Authenticity: We strive to create spaces where Latinas can show up authentically and be their whole selves without needing to change or adjust who they are.
- Community: We strive to build a nationwide network of Latinas who support and uplift each other to ensure that all Latinas feel a sense of belonging from the onset of their public service career and throughout.
- Equity: We are in solidarity with our communities and organizations seeking to create systemic change to address racial, reproductive, environmental, and other social injustices that hinder our ability to have an equitable and representative democracy.
- Service: We believe in the power of service, so we strive to deliver the highest-quality programs to support Latinas interested in serving in elected office who aspire to be of service to their communities.
- Solidarity: We are in solidarity with other women of color and are committed to ensuring Afro/Black, Disabled, Immigrant, Indigenous, Multiracial, Trans, and Queer Latina voices are heard and centered.
Our Team
Latinas Represent is a Latine-led, founded, and operated organization. We work closely with Latina communities and are proud to be in partnership with current and former elected officials, community advocates, writers, scholars, journalists, philanthropists, and political organizations.
Stephanie Gabriela Lopez
Executive Director
Stephanie (she/her/ella) is a visionary leader dedicated to transforming the public service landscape for Latinas in the United States. As the Executive Director at Latinas Represent, she leverages her personal journey as the daughter of Salvadoran immigrants and a first-generation college graduate to drive impactful change to create a more just and equitable democracy. She is a member of New Profit’s 2024 Civic Lab and served as a 2022 Aspen Institute SOAR Fellow.
Mark Travis Rivera
Communications & Storytelling Consultant
Mark (he/him/elle) serves as the communications & storytelling consultant for Latinas Represent and is the CEO and Founder of The Professional Storyteller, LLC, where he embraces the power of stories to create a more inclusive world. He is a Puerto Rican queer disabled man who was the first in his family to graduate high school, college, and become a creative entrepreneur.
Monica Sibri
Strategy & Partnerships Advisor
Monica (she/her/ella) is an intentional and tactical leader helping philanthropic and social justice movements unlock the potential of Latinas and women of color to reshape American democracy. Driven by her perpetual optimism and expertise, Monica has served in executive leadership, campaign advisory boards, and leading initiatives to build a more inclusive democracy rooted in gender and social equity.
Karla Bobadilla
Communications Intern
Karla (she/her/ella) serves as the Communications Intern for Latinas Represent. She is an aspiring Communication Designer studying for her B.A. in Art at CSUN. A first-generation college student of Mexican descent, she was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Karla is passionate about exploring the intersection of art and social impact and is excited to channel her enthusiasm for social justice through communication design.
Isabella Diaz
Research Intern
Isabella (she/her/ella) is a rising Junior at American University studying Public Health with a focus on Public Policy and Administration. She is an active community organizer for United We Dream and enjoys being a folkloric dancer in cultural parades and festivals. Isabella plans to pursue a Masters in Public Health or Public Policy. As a Latina in public health, she hopes to conduct research that can help communities and may even run for public office one day.
