Women’s Political Representation in Latin America

This event centered around RepresentWomen’s 2022 international research on Latin America, “Women’s Representation: Global Practices & Systems Strategies. On the partnership and research findings, Latinas Represent program director Stephanie Lopez said, “Latin America has incredible success stories regarding gender parity; yet, these successes are often overlooked. At Latinas Represent, we believe there is a lot to be learned from countries that have achieved gender parity, especially when strong Latina leaders lead those efforts, and this is why we are excited to partner with Represent Women to help launch their latest brief on women’s political representation in Latin America.”
