Congresswoman Norma Torres (CA-35) joined Teresa Acuña from the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda and LatinasRepresent via GoogleHangouts to discuss her rise to public office. After serving as a community organizer she was elected to local and state office. Congresswomen Torres attributes her victory to knowing her community and letting her community get to know her.
